Art as a reflection of existence in the artistic journey of the painter Vaclovas Vekerotas 

The creative motto of the painter Vaclovas Vekerotas: “People in life are like ships in the ocean. Here their paths intersect, here they pass by, and sometimes they meet and even start sailing in the same direction.The painter Vaclovas Vekerotas was born in the village of Gustaičiai, Vilkaviškis district.In 1967 he graduated from high school in Klaipėda. In 1973 he graduated from the Vilnius State Institute of Art. Currently, the painter lives and works in Marijampolė, Lithuania. He works as a teacher at the Marijampolė Art and music  School. He has organized 12 personal art exhibitions: in Vilnius, Kaunas, Marijampolė, Kybartai, Hallabrunn (Austria), the author is an active participant in plein airs and art exhibitions. A member of the Marijampolė Art Club “Žvilgsnis” and the Vilnius Club “Plekšnė”.The artist creates in several in different artistic directions: abstract stylistic direction, realistic, and the main place in the author's work is occupied by the marine theme. The author's work also touches on the fragility of this theme, the spiritual world, the theme of time remains important. Form and color are important in the author's painting, sometimes abstract landscapes appear.Painter Vaclovas Vekerotas is a Lithuanian artist, painter, whose work clearly reflects the inner world and life.
