In 1973 he graduated from the Vilnius State Institute of Art. Currently, the painter lives and works in Marijampolė, Lithuania. He works as a teacher at the Marijampolė Art and music School. He has organized 12 personal art exhibitions: in Vilnius, Kaunas, Marijampolė, Kybartai, Hallabrunn (Austria), the author is an active participant in plein airs and art exhibitions.
